About Us

Pastor Deborah graduated from ASAP Counseling Services and is a board-certified Christian Counselor. She has a bachelor's degree with the National Association of Christian counselors. She is the founder of the Let the Healing Begin Ministries. Through this ministry Pastor Deborah uses her knowledge, experience, and love for counseling, mentoring and encouraging people through their healing process. Her passion has allowed her to help thousands of women, children, and families in the Houston area. 

 

Pastor Deborah also founded Heavenly Love Foundation Inc. The foundation's primary purpose is to provide dependable and safe programs for our communities.  She provided youth programs through the Caring Hearts projects that helped achieve a social change in Northeast Houston. She is instrumental in helping children overcome the challenges of education, training, and artistic development, resources, and connecting parents with grants, affiliate non-profits, and government programs.  On November 28th, 2020, Pastor Deborah organized A Prayer Walk in Matzke Park to unite communities in prayer for families during COVID. The successful walk raised hundreds of dollars, and which were used to help Rhema Gospel Radio 101.5FM to continue to encourage Houstonians through daily radio broadcast.

 

Pastor Deborah is CEO and Director of LBJ Creative Ideas Learning Academy which serves families by providing a Christ centered organization dedicated to meeting the needs of Northwest Houston. It is a place where she stewards, teaches and facilitates the growth of babies and young children. She can be heard on Rhema Gospel Radio weekly for her radio broadcast, and she is now the host of a weekly podcast program titled Forever Grateful. This program is live on You Tube every Wednesday evening sharing words of wisdom and encouraging listeners through life's hardships. Her passion is to encourage and meet the needs of the community through fundraisers, financial assistance, community programs, partnerships has proven her to be a pillar throughout the Houston area.

 

Pastor Deborah has conducted numerous seminars, workshops and conferences for over 30 years. On December 10th, 2022, at the Holiday Inn-Willowbrook, Pastor Deborah conducted her conference entitled Let the Healing Begin. The purpose of this conference is to cultivate healing in all types of relationships. This conference created a platform for people to receive the insight and understanding of what it takes to maintain successful relationships.  Pastor Deborah is well known for helping hands, loving heart and philanthropy, Local and International.  She has contributed, assisted, and partnered with so many organizations, churches and nonprofits in the Greater Houston area including The Point   Christian Outreach Ministries, Ambition of Christ Restoration Center, Holy Temple Fairbanks, New Light Christian Center, Apostolic Tabernacle, Relentless Church, Women Emerge Ministries, and KT Empower Missions just to name a few.  A resolution was given to Pastor Deborah by the city of Houston on December 10th to acknowledge her with her own day and acknowledge her many achievements and contributions to the Houston area and surrounding communities. 

 

As of 2023, she has also launched Follow Me Ministries LLC, non-profit organization, which will serve as her ministerial foundation to host various other broadcast, projects, partnerships and other endeavors to come in the near future.
